Web Analysis Database
Analysis output from a gene expression or proteomics study can often be voluminous, including gene lists, figures, tables, etc. Putting the analysis results on a web site can simplify the process of keeping track of the results and sharing them with collaborators. We have developed an automated process for taking raw data (e.g. .cel files) with sample annotations, and generating a unique, fully functional, secure web site with analysis results.
Details
The web site contains all of the data and results from the study, including:
- Significant Gene lists, fold change/ p-value tables
- Quality control metrics and QC plots
- Demographic analyses and subgroup analyses
- Plots (PCA, clustered image maps, QC plots, copy number, etc.)
- Gene search page
- Pathway/Gene Ontology analyses hyperlinked to individual genes
- Gene detail pages (expression, annotation, regulation)
- Pathway / GO detail pages and visual pathway analysis
- Hyperlinks to Pubmed, KEGG, etc.
All of the gene annotation, sample annotation, and analysis results are stored in a database backend on the web server, and can be interactively queried via the web GUI.
